Hugh Hayward
As the fifth generation Hayward family member to operate the business, Hugh started his career in the business at a young age helping out during summers – installing wood floors, carpeting and delivering patio furniture. Today he is an active presence overseeing all aspects of the business from buying to selling and merchandising. Away from the showroom he indulges in his love for cooking, learning the cello and ocean swimming.
Patty Eberle
Our resident walking encyclopedia of all the suppliers, styles and configurations we sell, Patty brings her years of experience to help our customers find the perfect solution to their outdoor spaces. Always willing to help and go the extra mile, Patty lives in the Santa Ynez Valley and enjoys the active outdoor lifestyle spending her free time with her many horses and friends.
Joe Reynoso
Joe started his career at Hayward’s in 1993 and has been a key member of our team ever since. Handling all shipping/receiving as well as inventory, pricing and merchandising Joe successfully juggles many roles. He has the uncanny ability to remember model numbers and prices without any reference and quietly keeps all systems moving in the right direction. In his spare time you will find him restoring vintage bicycles and cruising along Cabrillo.
Joseph Maxwell
As the head of our delivery department, Joseph is a familiar face to our customers both in the showroom and on the delivery truck. From umbrella repairs to fire pit trouble shooting Joseph is our go to man for finding the best solutions for our customers. With his easy going attitude and friendly demeanor, Joseph spends his free time surfing and enjoying the natural beauty of the Central Coast.
